Stone Direct formed 1998 as a result of our passion of stone, products sourced both locally and internationally.

We feature in major building projects around NZ from welcome pillars for Mt Eden town, to Veneer finishes seen in the viaduct basin, to Matapouri Park street signs in the far north, to projects as far as Fiji, Port Douglas- Australia and Queenstown.

Working from drawing boards alongside, architects, specifiers, interior designers, landscapers, project owners, Quantity Surveyor’s through to Independent Stone Masons, and the DIY home owner wanting decorative pebbles, striving to source the best available natural stone products.

Since 1998 we have been helping people use stone to build their walls, fireplaces, steps, gardens and so much more. Hillcreast Normal School - Roman Road

From Hillcrest Normal School Hamilton: Thank you to Stone Direct in Auckland. The granite cobbles you so generously gifted to the Inquiry Class at Hillcrest Normal School have been laid by the children. The cobbles pave their Roman road beautifully.

For our Technology unit on Road Construction the children have been digging and carting; stones, gravel and sand. Now they have leveled off and measured - and laid your stone setts - to create a solid and durable path.
